Volunteering is an activity without payment that you can do either by yourself or as a member of a group. You can be a volunteer even in your home county or abroad, all you need is the willingness to do something special for other people and for yourself.

If you want to do voluntary service in Hungary the best to start with is the European Voluntary Service (EVS). EVS is part of the Youth in Action Programme which is the EU Programme for young people aged 15-28 (in some cases 13-30). You can also find some other opportunities among the links.
